Clomid – Generic Clomiphene may produce a condition called ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). It has sometimes been observed that ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome caused fluid buildup in stomach, chest and heart area. This may happen if the treatment is stopped midway.
During clinical research of Clomid – Generic Clomiphene, side effects such as
• Nausea
• Abdominal pain
• Breast discomfort
• Change in menstrual bleeding
• Abnormal vaginal bleeding
• Eye sensitivity
• Breathlessness
• Weight gain
• Stomach upset
• Vomiting
• Visual blurring
• Headache
• Swelling of face or lips or tongue
• Closing of your throat…
have been observed. In Rare cases, vision blurring may be permanent, if you are exposed to bright light. But these side effects are momentary and not sever or long lasting and usually go away in a few days or a week after treatment is stopped.
Use of Clomid has chances multiple births that could be risky both for the mother and as well as the fetuses.
The chances of life threatening risk are unlikely, but notify your doctor immediately, if you develop any of these side effects.
